The thing that keeps my going, sports. From the beginning I have always been involved in sports, going from dancing to gymnastics then soccer.  In my  younger ages  sports were just for fun, to find out what i wanted to do. As i got a little older around  5th grade  I stopped playing all sports but in 6th grade I found my best friend till this day and she introduced me to my favorite sport till this day, lacrosse.    Ever since I picked up a lacrosse stick I was connected instantly, Then came cross country,in 7th grade gym class my gym teacher told me to join.  I later joined, my first year  was a year I just messed around, I had never had any interest in running. The later after I wanted to better myself, I worked to get my time faster.  After the first race I saw I might have a chance at the school record.  After this I started running with the boys at practice to push me to my limits so  I could improve. After dropping 2 minutes off my time I  finally got the school record .  Leading to  high school season. I saw people putting freshmen's under, they didn't look at them like they were anything.I would have to prove that I was just as good as anyone else.  I proved I was willing of being noticed too.  Making my way to regionals. I then later trained with the track team through winter I would go from track practices to lacrosse conditioning, I had my spot on the 4 by 8 team in track but lacrosse won me over. I worked all the way until lacrosse practices started so i would stay conditioned.  The combine was my main focus for lacrosse, after getting first i realized I couldn't lose the conditioning I had worked for. I later decided to run before school each day and sometimes before lacrosse practice so I would stay in shape.  A lot see school sports as fun, I see it as an opportunity to prove yourself, and that's exactly what I did. I was determined to keep myself in shape and be the hardest working on the team.   I earned my way as the top scoring freshman in the lacrosse program.  The sports I'm in are what I live for. Running is not my favorite thing to do but the feeling of the competition when your in the race or the anxiety you get waiting on the line for the gun is what I strive for.  Without sports I wouldn't be anything, they make up who I am.
